Mary Hernandez, M.A., CCC-SLP
Owner / Speech Therapy Program Director
Mary graduated with her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from San Diego State University. She specializes in bilingual/multilingual language development and disorders across the lifespan. She initially entered a research career studying patterns of language development in bilinguals and best practices for treatment. However, she moved into a clinical career to pursue her passion of providing bilingual/Spanish-speaking clients with equal opportunity for speech and language treatment. She opened Life Cycle to combine that passion of providing high quality care to Spanish-speaking people who are often overlooked with her aim to help people of all ages.
Jillian McGarry, M.S., OTR/L
I am an occupational therapist with 10 years of experience whose passion is to facilitate growth and independence across the lifespan. I have experience covering all ages from early intervention to geriatrics in a multitude of settings including: acute care, school based, clinic, and home health. I enjoy meeting the client where they are and promoting their development of skills to aid in maximizing independence and quality of life. As a mom, I strive to provide practical tools for implementation throughout the day to facilitate the continued development of skills. I have a Bachelors of Science in psychology with a minor in special education from the University of Oregon and a Masters of Science in Occupational therapy from San Jose State University.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, cooking, and spending time at the beach to recharge.

Bree Becerra-Prado M.A., CF-SLP
Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow
Hi, everyone! I am a proud bilingual first-generation Latina, who is passionate about bridging access to and providing holistic family-centered care to multilingual and underserved communities within Early Intervention. I received my undergraduate degrees at UCLA, majoring in B.S. Psychobiology and B.A. Spanish with a minor in Applied Development Psychology and then completed my Masters in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences with a certificated specialization in bilingualism at SDSU. I have worked with families with kiddos 0-5 for several years and have loved working with caregivers to promote connection and growth across the family system. I am endorsed as a Transdisciplinary Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Practitioner in the state of CA. As a Speech Therapist, my goal is to continue to work collaboratively with caregivers to create welcoming safe spaces that meets families where they are at, and are catered to their child’s individual needs, wants, and interests to build connection and facilitate communication. In my free time, I love to read, explore coffee shops, and go on walks at the beach.

Hi, I'm Kayla! I'm a Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about helping children and families build meaningful communication skills through play, connection, and functional everyday routines. My clinical interests include early intervention, caregiver coaching, bilingual language development, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). While my primary focus is pediatric early intervention, I also have a special interest in neurorehabilitation following traumatic brain injury (TBI) and cognitive-communication disorders. I believe the best outcomes happen when families feel supported, empowered, and actively involved in their loved one's communication journey. In my free time, I enjoy photography, hiking, beach walks with my husband and our sassy pug, Luna, and exploring local matcha cafés.

My name is Gayle Dixon and I am a COTA. I worked for school districts for several years prior to earning my certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Since completing my OTA degree in 2021, I have gained experience in various settings, including school-based programs, early intervention, post-acute care, and home health. I enjoy using play-based strategies to facilitate growth and development in natural environments.

I am a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) and current graduate clinician completing my Master’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at San Diego State University. My passion is providing equitable, culturally responsive care that supports speech rehabilitation and development in bilingual individuals across the lifespan. I have experience supporting linguistically diverse populations and a background in pediatric behavior intervention across clinic and school settings. I enjoy meeting clients where they are and utilizing a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach to build practical, functional communication skills for daily life.

I am passionate about helping children develop their speech, language, and communication skills. I strive to create engaging, individualized therapy experiences that support each child’s unique strengths and needs empowering them to communicate with confidence. Outside of work I enjoy traveling with my family, and watching baseball games.
